about

Telos Vision was born out of some sort of realization that things don’t have to be like they’ve always been. Before I’ve always looked for inspiration in music that I like, but this time I’ve searched for it in new places. My music is about the big things, the philosophical questions, love and eternity. It was not until I turned my attention to the the bigger and more important things that I could stop comparing myself to others and begin to see my music from a new perspective.

It all started with bits and pieces of music I had laying around that started to take shape. Later on me and Matti Carlsson began making more elaborate demos where he played drums to my endless waving and conducting as I continued adding sounds and noises, over and over again. We went into the Welfare Sounds studio in August of 2017 with Per Stålberg as co-producer. For over a year after that I carried microphones, synthesizers and cables around in my blue IKEA bag to record in different places and step by step create this record.

I chose a slow way of working, at least compared to what I’ve been used to. It was important for me to choose a path where I had no possibility of rushing. Stress is always a compromise and that’s not what Telos Vision is about. Telos Vision is my space to do exactly what I want and let things take the time they need. To do that I constantly have to work with myself as a person and as an artist, and remind myself why write music. Because no one else is going to remind me about that.
